America's First Fair

Held the first Friday after Labor Day, the York Fair has been celebrating the county with live concerts, delicious fair food, kid-friendly rides, and livestock exhibits since 1765. Eleven years older than the United States, the York Fair has been one of the best end-of-summer traditions for more than 250 years! It encompasses two full weekends, September 6-13, and plenty to do on a hot, late-summer day.

The York Fair also has some of the best entertainment of the whole year! Concerts include Alice Cooper, Sesame Street, and stand-up comedian Gabriel Iglesias. To view a full list of York Fair’s concerts, check the schedule below.

Besides the musical performances and concerts, the York Fair is also hosting its third annual Monster Truck Fall Bash on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 2 PM and 8 PM. The event showcases monster trucks including local fan favorite Stinger Unleashed and other nationally-recognized trucks such as Master of Disaster and Instigator. Each show has a pre-show meet and greet and “Party in the Pits” admission included with tickets. Get there early to ride in a real monster truck! Plus, for the first time in our area, a monster truck will be attempting a full rotation 360-degree backflip!
