Happy New Year! Honestly, the older I get the faster time passes by. It’s hard to believe it is the end of January already. Our whole family just enjoyed a week’s vacation in Walt Disney World. It was wonderful to enjoy this break away from the bed and breakfast during our slow time, and we missed a few inches of snow, too! The grandchildren had an amazing time. We visited with family and friends who live in Orlando, also. Dallas and I are super excited the Philadelphia Eagles are going to the Super bowl! We’ve been Eagles fans since our childhood, growing up in the Philly suburbs. Dallas, Mom, Quincy and I plan to watch the game here at the B&B. Sure wish we could go to Minneapolis to see it in person! E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!!  |

Fire and Ice Festival - Lititz |

On President’s Weekend, February 16th-19th, Lititz will have the 13th annual Fire and Ice Festival. On Friday night watch ice sculptures being made and placed along Main and Broad Streets. Saturday, enjoy the “Fire” at the Chili Cook-Off. |

Mason Dixon Wine Trail Special |

Will March come in like a lion and go out like a lamb? Hard to say with the crazy weather we have been having. One thing’s for sure, Saturdays and Sundays in the month of March are special on the Mason Dixon Wine Trail. The annual Tour de Tanks begins March 3rd and runs through March 25th. We are running a Mason Dixon Wine Trail Special: personalized tour in our minivan to 4-5 wineries on the trail and two tickets for special tastings, for $145, plus your room rate. Your ticket can be used for the whole month of March if you are able to come back to the area to enjoy more of the wineries. |

Lancaster Roots and Blues |

March 9th-11th, the Lancaster Roots and Blues Festival gets under way in Lancaster City. Amazing musical performances are held throughout the city at different venues. One of our favorites, Shemekia Copeland will be performing and we can’t wait to see her live, in person! Get more information and buy your tickets. |

JESUS at Sight and Sound Theater |

Sight and Sound Theater will be debuting a new show on March 10, 2018. JESUS, will run through January 5th, 2019. If you haven’t seen a show in this incredible venue, you must come this year. The Bible truly comes to life! Live animals, panoramic stage; it’s amazing! We are able to get $5 off a ticket for you if you are staying with us. |
