Lititz's Annual Fire & Ice Festival
One of the area’s best events of the entire year makes for the perfect weekend out in Lititz. Back for its 14th year in a row, the Fire & Ice festival transforms the quaint streets of Lititz into a winter wonderland. View impressive ice carvings and more than 50 sculptures, taste delicious chili, listen to live music, or enjoy a warm beverage. Grab a bite from some of the food trucks located around town or take a romantic evening stroll through the park illuminated by the glow of fairy lights overhead.
Foodies should plan for a visit to the Fire & Ice festival’s Saturday lineup. The chili cook-off, held at Warwick High School from 11AM to 3PM on Saturday, February 15th, showcases the skills of twenty chefs representing local non-profits. After paying admission, try samples from as many types of chili as you wish. Try hot and spicy, vegetarian, and a variety of meat and bean combinations before casting your vote. Money raised from admissions is then divided up between the charities according to how many votes the chef receives. Afterwards, browse wares by local vendors and businesses at the free Vendor Fair.
Admission to the 2020 Fire & Ice festival chili cook-off is $10 for adults. The Fire & Ice festival takes place February 14-15, 2020. Ice sculptures will be on display around town until Monday. Visit the Lititz Fire & Ice website for more information, a complete schedule, and a map to help you locate all the ice sculptures.
