With artists performing blues, reggae, southern rock, country, R&B and more, there's something for everyone at the Long’s Park Summer Music Series.
For nearly 60 years, these summer concerts in Long's Park have added immensely to the area's cultural and entertainment programming. Don't miss your chance to experience the transformational magic of live musical performances at the architecturally stunning amphitheater! Because admission is free, all you’ll need is a lawn chair when you attend a performance at Long’s Park. Make sure you arrive a little earlier than the 7:30 p.m. start time to ensure you have a great seat for the show.
The Labor Day Art Festival at Long's Park began in 1979, as a fundraiser to support the Summer Music Series. Decades later, it has grown to become a nationally recognized arts event in its own right. This year's art festival will be held Sept. 3 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Sept. 4 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and Sept. 5 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Thousands of art lovers from throughout the mid-Atlantic region will converge on the beautiful Long’s Park setting to peruse the fine artwork of over 200 juried exhibitors. The exhibitors come from across the country to offer their handcrafted pieces in a variety of media. While you stroll through the outdoor art gallery, enjoy live music, food, wine and beer.
Come visit us at the BF Hiestand House and fill your Sunday evenings with great music and talented musicians at the Long’s Park Summer Music Series. It’s the perfect summer date night idea! Or spend Labor Day Weekend with us and enjoy the Art Festival. Maybe you'll pick up a one-of-a-kind art piece to remind you of your travels to charming Lancaster County.
