Summer weekends are another kind of special around here. The air fills with the happy sounds of outdoor music festivals and concerts. You’ll find romantic settings for an intimate concert with a picnic to larger venues hosting all-day festivals.

Vineyards Pair Well with Music

Many of the area's wineries become lovely spots for pairing wines from the region with great live music. You may really enjoy sitting back with a nice glass of wine and taking in the gorgeousness of a Summer evening.

One of our neighboring wineries, Nissley Vineyards & Winery, is hosting Music in the Vineyards 2016. A series of five open-air lawn concerts, Saturday evenings on their spacious lawn. Bring a picnic supper, good friends, and chairs or a blanket for all. You might just find yourself dancing the night away.

For a special treat, we offer a package when you visit on a Saturday between July 23 and August 20, 2016. The package includes:

• a pair of tickets to one of the five lawn concerts at Nissley Vineyards & Winery,

• a picnic dinner for two,

• chairs and/or blanket to use,

• outdoor skincare package (includes sunscreen, bug repellent and hand sanitizer).

Long’s Park Amphitheater Summer Music Series is regarded as a top musical entertainment destination in one of the best outdoor venues in Central PA - Over 50 years of music, every Sunday, always free. The series features a variety of musical genres, from indie rock and jazz to Latin rhythm and bluegrass. Get the performance schedule here.

Hershey Park Stadium - Known as the most prominent outdoor venue between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Hershey Park Stadium is hosting two pop music festivals in August: Mixtape festival boasting the title of “biggest pop music festival in the U.S.” and
in it’s second year, The Show of Summer.

Hershey Theater -  August 21st, storming onto the main stage are international megastars Celtic Thunder, with LEGACY, a brand new show that celebrates the influence of Irish and Celtic music around the world.

Giants Center at Hershey Cirque du Soleil, OVO, Seven shows between August 31 & Sept. 4th as part of a global tour in arenas around North America.
