There’s no better way to lose yourself in the wonder of fall than to meander through tall stalks of corn that have been carefully constructed into a challenging maze. Corn mazes are a growing attraction for the agritourism industry. After the crop has been harvested, farmers cut intricate labyrinths into the cornfields, with dead ends and side trails throughout the design. Corn mazes aren't just for kids and some invite guests to navigate their way at night with flashlights for a spooky adventure.
Corn mazes are great outdoor fun that can stretch into mid-November. If you're up for the challenge, here are five a-mazing corn mazes in Lancaster and York counties, all within a short drive of B.F. Hiestand House.
